KAH POON PHOTOGRAPHY
Award-winning photographer Kah Leong Poon moved to New York in 1995 for internships with Joyce Tenneson and Annie Leibovitz. Kah was hired by Tenneson, working with her for 3 years before branching out on his own. He has done work for advertising agencies, magazines, theatre and fashion designers, and has quickly compiled an impressive client list that includes VH1, London Fog, Ernst and young, Polaroid, Fuji Film, J. McLaughlin, Zink, Zoom, Psychology Today, West East, Essence and The New York Times.
Graphis has selected Kah as one of the top 100 photographers of 2012. Additionally, Kah has received awards from Polariod, Communication Arts, International Photography Awards (IPA), 10 Best 10, Fuji Film, Hasselblad and Adobe.
A native of Singapore, Kah received a BFA in graphic design and photography from Brigham Young University. A man of diverse talents, Kah represented BYU in NCAA 1st division swimming, and performed nationally and internationally with its acclaimed Ballroom Dance Company.
