KAH POON PHOTOGRAPHY
Kah Poon is a New York fashion and portrait photographer. In 1995 he interned with both Annie Leibovitz and Joyce Tennesson and then worked as Ms. Tennesson’s First Assistant from 1995–2000 when he opened his own studio. Since 2000, Kah has been shooting award winning fashion, portrait and art photography.
Magazine Clients include: Elle, Essence, Uptown, Spirit and Flesh, AndMen (British Magazine), WestEast (Asian Magazine), Zink, Zoom, New York Times, and Psychology Today
Commercial Clients Include: VH1, Fujifilm, JM Brand, The Propeller Group, Princeton University, Ernst and Young, Polaroid Corporation, Jefferson Hospital, J.McLaughlin, and London Fog.
2002 – 2017 Graphis Awards (2 Platinum, 4 Gold and 4 Silver Awards): Representing global advertising agencies, design firms and photographers. In 2012 Graphis recognized Mr. Poon as one of the Top 100 Photographers in the World.

1993-1995: A member of the Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Company, won three US National Titles in the International Latin Ballroom Team Dance Competition
1995: First Place in Latin Ballroom Team Dance at the Blackpool Dance Festival
Youth world swimming record holder in the 100 meter freestyle
Represented Singapore throughout Asia earning over 900 individual and group medals
1988 - 1991: Member of the Brigham Young University, NCAA 1st division swim team
